SOLID-STATE POWER AMPLIFIER (SSPA)

We design and manufacture high-performance solid-state power amplifiers from 20 MHz to 40 GHz, with a specialised focus on pulsed and wideband SSPAs for military radar, electronic warfare, and jamming systems operating in harsh environments.

POAM amplifiers are engineered to deliver high peak power, wide instantaneous bandwidth, and long-term signal stability under severe electrical, thermal, and environmental stress.

Beyond standard models, we develop custom pulse and wideband SSPA platforms tailored to your exact power levels, frequency coverage, duty cycles, and mechanical and environmental constraints, with fast development and turnaround to keep critical defence programs moving.

Systems are designed and tested to meet relevant military and aerospace environmental and EMC standards, including MIL-STD-810 (environmental), MIL-STD-461 (EMC/EMI), and DO-160 (airborne), where specified. Standard models represent only a fraction of our capability. If your system pushes limits, we design where catalogs stop. Contact us to build a solution specifically for your platform.

Pulsed Solid-State Power Amplifier:

POAM designs Solid-State Power Amplifiers that replace tube-based radar systems with higher power density, greater efficiency, and extreme thermal resilience.

All POAM pulse SSPAs are fully stand-alone, housed in rugged IP67 weatherproof enclosures, compact, low-weight, and ready for direct field deployment.

Available in L, S, C, X, Ku and Ka bands, our COTS and custom solutions power radar platforms across air traffic control, weather monitoring, maritime surveillance, drone detection, and defence.
